MATEC-WI and the HIV Treaters Case Conference Planning Committee, with funding support from Wisconsin DHS, present an intensive workshop on a key clinical topic in HIV care each year, typically in May or June. The workshops are designed for experienced HIV providers and feature national and regional expert presenters, case discussions, and provide an opportunity to explore a key topic in HIV care within the local context.
Recent workshop topics include:
- Optimizing HIV care for an aging population
- Managing pain and addiction in the HIV clinic setting
- Understanding and addressing disparities that impact individuals with HIV infection
- Addressing mental health needs in the context of HIV care
