HIV Practice Transformation Project

The overall goal the regional HIV Practice Transformation Project is to expand, improve, and increase the efficiency and quality of HIV care in the region. MATEC’s approach to practice transformation (PT) is concerned with fundamental systems change for clinics and agencies, understanding that the highest quality and most effective care for people living with HIV involves all parts of their care setting.

As part of the HIV Practice Transformation Project, MATEC-WI is working with a community health center in Milwaukee to expand HIV testing and biomedical prevention services.
