Health disparities faced by lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, and queer (LGBTQ+) people are often the result of inadequate access to health care as well as insufficient provider training. Taking an inclusive sexual health history from patients of all sexual orientations and gender identities supports their care and can improve health outcomes, whether they have HIV or are striving to prevent it’s acquisition. Participate in this interactive program which emphasizes the knowledge and skills primary care providers need to take a thorough and affirming sexual health history. Join this virtual program to improve your ability to provide compassionate, non-judgmental care for your LGBTQ+ patients.
Participants are encouraged to review the SOGI 101: Understanding Sexual Orientation & Gender Identity to Improve Patient Care archived webinar
